Thanks! I tried that and it worked but...
Is there any way to create the synonym for all tables? My goal is to have the various application use different usernames to login but all reference the tables of the main account. This way I can track easier if one of the applications is not being nice by releasing the connections, etc. There is no way that I can change all of the applications to include the username in front of the table name... I am not even sure this is the best way. It was suggested to me by using synonym and grant but that is as far as they went.
