Hi, I hope someone can answer the following question:
At two Orcale 8.1.7 sites, I use "simple" snapshot replication of only 1 master table to a snapshot at the snapshot site. The replication uses fast refresh, so the master table has an associated log.
I want to add columns to the master table. Is that possible, that is, will the snapshot be automatically updated also with the new columns?
Or do I need to setup replication again?
Any tip or comment is highly appreciated.
Thanks !!

No it will not.

Every time you make DDL changes to the master table, you have to re-create the snapshot log for this table. It will not happened automatically.

Hope that helps,
