Hi folk,

Pls help!!

I had install Oracle8i and create a DB, the connection on server is okay. But once I connect via client machine (net8) I got the error code: Ora-12545 Target host not exist.

How can I do? Pls advise.

you have configure the listener(in server side, if u dont want any DEFAULT VALUES) and tnsnames.ora (client side) to add the connection_string entries.
did u do that?
