Any advice on my New Oracle DBA job [message #54958]

As a new Oracle DBA in a company,
1.) What are the daily/weekly/monthly checks that I should be looking at?
2.) Could someone give me DETAILED tips on handling Oracle Databases on the 1st few days or weeks on a new site? Any websites you can suggest?
4.) Any suggestions how to formulate Data Policies, Data Revision guides, and Data Documentation? Any website that deals with this particular issue? This is part of the job description.

I have 3 yrs Oracle experience. Any inputs will be highly appreciated as my new job will start in a month's time.
