Good Afternoon,
My question is: Is there a limit to how many instances can be created on one server running NT Server 4.0. Also When creating more than one instance in instance manager, does the password need to be "oracle" or do they have to be different passwords.

Hi
The maximum number of instances for a single DB is decided by the maxinstances clause at the time of DB creation.
Moreover, u need to have parallel server option installed for creating multiple instance for a single DB
