I am facing the problem of sudden termination of listener process with generation of core dump on the server on sun machine with oracle9i as
database and solaris 8 as operating system.After the
core is removed and the listener is restarted it works
fine.Can anybody help in this regard as to what could
be the cause of this problem

please post the core dump message.
and
loook into listener.ora and post the exact message
