What is the Maximum value which can be set for a process parameter in init.ora assuming the OS supports any value.

theoritically,
PROCESSES is dependent on OS.
If OS can support any, then process can too.

Well, if Oracle stores it internally as an integer, it's about 4 billion.

What the practical maximum is depends on the operating system, and the hardware.
