Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me how I could specify password file path for my DB? I am not using dbassist and instead creating everything using the script. I want oracle password file to be placed in /data1/orapasswd file. I think I can do it in init.ora, but, if I define password_file = "/data1/orapasswd" then who will create that file? Or do I need to run orapwd ? Is there some other way?

by oracle standards,
password file should be placed in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs.
goto $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
orapwd utility creates the password file.
