When I am running the "sqlplus /" the following error is coming... [[Sun OS 5.8, Oracle 9i]]
SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production on Tue May 20 23:57:05 2003
Copyright (c) 1982, 2002, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27123: unable to attach to shared memory segment
SVR4 Error: 13: Permission denied
Checked the ORACLE_SID and other env parameters also.
If anyone has some idea, please let me also know how to tackle this error.

Hi Mahesh,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Even after using "sqlplus /" We need to connect to the databse. Still same error is coming.
Looks like some shared meemory permissions related problem for other users. But couldn't able to trace exactly where is the problem.
Do you have any idea, how to provide access to shared memory for other users?
