I have a table that is inserted into frequently. Updates are NEVER performed against this table. The pct_free is set to 20 and pct_used is set to 40. My question is...if I am only inserting data into this table and then deleting it at another time...wouldn't I want to set my pct_used higher to something more like 80? and set my pct_free to 10? The problem is that my database is showing 0 free space for a particular table, and I believe it is due to the fact that my high-water mark is high based on the pct_used being too low. Is this true?
