Hi All,

I have around 12000 records in V_$LOGHIST. I have few questions related to it -

1. Should I delete these records?
2. How can I delete these records?
3. Is there any impact on the performance in keeping the records?
4. What all things should I do to optimize my SYSTEM tablespace?

Thanks

Manu

NEVER go around messing with system tables unless you like to reinstall your Oracle.

What version of Oracle are we talking about here? Is this a Parallel Server? Any other special options?
