Hi, I use Database Configuration Assistant to create 9i databases, I want the ORACLE_BASE variable points to E: drive( the default is d) how can I do that???

set ORACLE_BASE in your ENV.
set ORACLE_BASE= YOURPATH
NOW , invoke dbca.

Env is nothing but setting the environment in .profile...and dbca is database config assistant.

While in DBCA, you can double click on the old path, or just highlight and change the value. There is a tab or button for "File locations" in one of the menus. Look carefully and you will see it.
